Fireworks

I
Come with me in flight; I can’t sleep through the night.I could never dwell on so-called wrong and right. If love were a flame within a fragile rose, I'd gladly bear the blame for so-called flaws in its pose.

II
Before, blizzards could grant fortitude and inspiration. As long as kindling dreams would give with feeble gleams. My smile illumination. Before, fate, it seemed, was easily within my control. I’d see through my tears the hazy rainbow’s goal.

III
Fog fades—now relief. A firework's life is brief. The lighthouse—lost no more. Because you are the shore...the shore.... the shore
